LIFE IS TRULY A JOURNEY OF FAITH, no matter what season you’re in. Encouraged by others for over thirty years to put this book together, FALLING SHORT is my ultimate leap of faith. I mean really, is there truly a market for poetry? Though, it was more than the nudging of a few dear friends, but the voice of GOD that put this collection together. It is my hope that this book will take you on a journey of faith, covering a range of emotions and the difficulties of this life to GOD’s ultimate GLORY. After all, half the battle of trudging through the rough stuff is knowing you’re not alone. Join me on this roller coaster ride climbing over worldly desires to landing in the beautiful grace of GOD. The whole idea, of FALLING SHORT (Of God’s Great Glory), is that we can often feel that we are not good enough or worthy enough of HIS love (glory), as we compare out relationship to HIM with our relation-ships of this world, yet HIS salvation & forgiveness is offered to each and every one of us. This is not a Christian book per say, just the observations on life make by a Christian woman through her journey. You can call it poetry, prose & prayer for every occasion. Maybe you will relate to stories of lost love and lust-filled emptiness or you’ll find joy in the praise to GOD. Call it poems & prose for every occasion. Spanning over three decades of raw feelings & dreams (be them good or bad), within these words, you’ll find topics far beyond simple love & heartache. There’s anger, trying to make it in this world (work related), the fake people we meet, narcissists, pride, ego, suicide, death, fighting cancer (or the doc-tor’s that profit from it), having a child with seizures, being pushed away & feeling alone. And more than that, you’ll uncover how beautifully GOD can make all things work together for good. You’ll find stories of redemption, hope, and true love like you’ve never known, along with the thankfulness you can find even through what may seem like endless struggles.
